As a clinical counsellor who hails from South Africa and works with children, youth, and families, I feel a responsibility to care for our Zambian single mothers and their children – widows and orphans of our time. For the last 15 years, I have been fortunate to live and work in Victoria, BC – a community where I want for nothing. I have an amazing daughter, Simone, and grandson, Noah.

I am a Canadian entrepreneur passionate about developing sustainable opportunities for people who have found themselves marginalized and at risk of being trafficked and exploited. I recently lived in India for six years consulting with businesses focused on developing freedom strategies for trafficked women in Kolkata. I am excited to support the continued strengthening of the Noah Logan Society, a grass roots organization uplifting at-risk women and their children in Zambia. I holds a Sociology degree in gender issues and peace building and is currently working on a master’s program in Organizational Leadership.

I have served with various ministries and countries over the last 30 years, most recently in Ethiopia and Indonesia. In my local community of Victoria, BC, Canada, I have been involved with The Cridge Centre for the Family’s Dovetail program, was instrumental in starting the Justice Van Society, and have volunteered with The Mustard Street Food Bank/Street Church. I currently live in Sidney, BC, and love spending lots of time with my two grandchildren. I am delighted to be a part of The Noah Logan Society – an organization whose philosophy is very close to my heart.
